Idea generation process (10-15+ a day)
How to turn endless Reels into high-performing posts — daily, without burnout
✅ Step 1: Intentional Scrolling (20–30 mins max/day)
Purpose: Find ideas worth recreating — not entertainment
Open IG and start scrolling Reels in your niche (fitness, gym humor, transformations, mindset)
When a post grabs your attention (hook, pacing, emotion, edit style), do one of three things:
A. Save It
Save to a folder called:
🔥 Content To Recreate(Optional: use different folders for ragebait, teaching, edits, etc.)
B. Send It To Yourself
DM it to your own page (use a saved thread or label like “recreate this”)
Add a short note in the message:
“Good pacing” / “Fire CTA” / “Voiceover potential” / “Recreate w/ back training”
C. Screenshot or Screen Record
For inspiration from captions, visuals, or structure
Save to a Dropbox/Google Drive/phone album called:
Content Inspiration
✅ Step 2: Categorize & Store
Inside your content system (Google Sheets or Doc), organize by:
🔹 Pillar: Info, Transform, Rage, Personality
🔹 Format: Talking, Edit, Carousel, Voiceover
🔹 Goal: Views, Saves, Follows, Comments
✅ Step 3: Batch When You’re Fresh
Once/week, review your idea list
Pick 3–5 to script/film in one sitting
Store rough edits or clips in your Content Vault folder
🧠 Mindset Tip:
"Scrolling is research, not recreation."
If your For You Page isn’t full of banger ideas to recreate — you're following the wrong pages... Curate it.
📍Section 4: What is Virality
Types of Reels that went viral and why:
The first reel I will breakdown is a classic gym edit, with no text, and quick cuts:
https://www.instagram.com/reel/DBigsurRUSX/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
Metrics:

What went well:
Strong Like Rate — 13.87% (+149%)
This is well above average and suggests that:
The hook worked: viewers who didn’t skip likely connected right away.
The visuals or message hit emotionally or aesthetically enough for people to double-tap.
It created a “this is dope” moment — which is often a gateway to follows.
High Share Rate — 0.28% (+105%)
While under 1%, a 100%+ increase is a big deal, especially at 240K reach.
This means:
People saw value or identity in the content — they wanted others to see it too.
There may have been viral potential if shareability was optimized even further (more punchy captions, more polarizing POVs).
Good Total Engagement Volume
Over 22.8K engagements (likes + shares + saves + comments) on 240K views
That’s roughly a 9.5% engagement rate, which is excellent at scale
The second reel I will break down is a unique take on gym advice that is eye catching but also provides value.
https://www.instagram.com/reel/DCQ0DauxAJl/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
Metrics:

What went well:
Massive Reach with Low Skip Rate – 1.8M Views & 25.55% Skip Rate
A skip rate under 30% at this volume is elite. It means:
You nailed the hook — people were pulled in immediately.
The reel held strong relevance for a broad audience.
You likely had a compelling visual or payoff early
High Save Rate – 0.91% (↑200%)
This is a huge signal of long-term value:
Saves mean people saw this as something to reference later — aesthetic inspiration, progress motivation, or something “goal-worthy.”
Save-heavy content tends to get re-surfaced in the feed and explore over time.
Average Watch Time of 9.17s
This is very elite, especially since the video was 11-12 seconds
Viewers were staying until near the end — great pacing
The content likely had a strong “payoff” visual late in the reel
The third reel I will break down is a unique take on a transformation reel, it goes well with my hook type of content and also shows a real transformation.
https://www.instagram.com/reel/DCdtAZkR7Z1/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
Metrics:

What went well:
Massive Like Volume — 60.6K Likes (6.7% Rate, ↑35%)
This was the standout metric for the reel:
High emotional or aesthetic appeal — the reel hit viewers hard enough to double-tap.
That 6.7% rate on 2M views is strong at scale, especially with Instagram's declining average like rates.
Strong Watch Time – 9.77s (↑22%)
This means:
Viewers stuck around — likely all the way through.
You had solid story flow and pacing — maybe a visual reveal, transformation moment, or satisfying ending.
This is a huge retention indicator — the longer they watch, the more it gets pushed.
Solid All-Around Numbers at Scale
Despite slightly lower share/save/comment metrics, this reel still generated:
60K+ likes
1.8K saves
1.1K shares
That’s 63K+ engagements on a 2M-view video — a 3%+ engagement rate at high scale, which is very respectable.
How about for Feed posts and High-performing carousels??
These 2 conditions are the only thing that matter:
Your current audience can connect to the slides and like them because it shows your personality.
There are at least 2 slides, and a maximum of 10 (3-6 seems to be a good range)
📍Section 5: Content Audit & Analytics Process
The most common thing you will see that will indicate how good a post does is its average watch time. If you can make your average watch time the same length of your video, or longer… It will get pushed out by instagram for as many people as that stays true for..
Metrics to track from top to bottom (Reach, Saves, Follows, CTR)
Metric | What It Tells You | Why It Matters |
Reach | How many people IG showed it to | Indicator of hook strength |
Watch Time % | How long people stayed on the Reel | Shows pacing/edit strength |
Saves | How valuable people found it | Best for info/teaching content |
Shares | How viral or relatable it felt | Great for personality or ragebait |
Follows | Did the viewer convert into a fan? | Measures how magnetic your profile is |
CTR (Profile Visits > Follows) | How sticky your brand is | Reflects branding/identity strength |
Everything else should be second thought metric wise.
“Diagnose a Dead Post” checklist
❌ "Dead Post" Checklist
Was the hook clear in the first 0.5s?
Was the caption weak or missing a CTA?
Was the edit too slow or unpolished?
Did it follow your winning format?
Did you post at a time your audience is active?
Did you use a sound/trend that's stale or off-brand?
Did the content feel recycled or obvious?
✅ If 3 or more are true: Don’t delete. Learn from it.
🔁 Fix the format, hook, or CTA and recreate in a better way.
If you do this and the post still does not work, kill it off, unless you believe it could be re edited and better, then try again.
Edits has a great metric system for analysis of posts with metrics broken down that aren’t shown on the view insights tab on your posts in instagram

https://youtube.com/shorts/xxNd0q__65w
https://youtube.com/shorts/wxS2wNvB0GU
Tools you use (CapCut is slightly better for tiktok, edits is slightly better for instagram (I use edits))
You can find trending audios the same way you would find reels to recreate, scroll through your reels page saving the ones you like and want to reuse.
📍Section 7: Identity & Niche Domination + Collabs within your niche
🧠 Find Your Unique Angle That Scales
You’re not just posting. You’re building a category.
Ask yourself:
What message do I believe deeply that most creators ignore?
Who am I really talking to?
What problem am I solving that no one else is?
For me, it was this:
"Helping naturals with bad genetics build elite physiques — no fake natties, no BS."
That became my mission, my lens, my brand. Everything flowed from that — captions, offers, edits, tone.
🚫 Why Generalist Content Fails
It blends into the feed
It attracts followers who don’t convert
It builds no trust, no voice, no reason to follow you over anyone else
You don’t want just views. You want loyalists who say:
“Bro’s the only one telling the truth.”
“This guy’s me — but 2 years ahead.”
🔥 How to Stand Out in a Saturated Niche
Everyone posts gym clips. Few build a worldview.
Here's how you stand out:
Be more honest than everyone else
Talk about struggle, discipline, failure
Polarize with purpose
Have takes. Piss off the wrong audience.
Use visual identity
Consistent overlays, captions, editing rhythm
Talk like a person
Drop the fake “coach voice.” Be blunt. Be relatable.
🎯 Create a Recognizable Brand Voice
Think of your content like a character:
What do you always say?
What do you never say?
What does your audience expect when they see your face or font?
My brand voice became:
Tone: Direct, raw, no BS
Vibe: Real lifter, proven by work, not clout
Audience: Naturals, outsiders, strugglers
📍Section 8: Daily Actionable Systems for Growth
📬DM 50–150 similar creators in size to you daily (Outreach):
“This page is slept on 👑…”
“You’re on the verge of something crazy — people just don’t see it yet.”
“Underrated content. You’re talking real.”
“Solid stuff man, you’re actually saying what needs to be said.”
“Way too few views for how hard this goes 💯”
✅Send yourself 10–15 new post ideas daily
Scroll Reels intentionally (20–30 min/day)
Save or send to your own DMs with a quick label:
“🔥 for hook” / “Recreate this vibe” / “Add voiceover angle”Look at: hook style, caption, edit pacing, story emotion
✅Identify + Recreate Successful Content
Goal: Steal the structure, not the style.
How to Do It:
Pick 1–2 posts a day from your vault
Ask:
What made this work?
What emotion does it trigger? Can I recreate this with my own voice/message?
Formula:
Hook + Pacing + Proof + CTA
Rebuild using your story, your edit style, your message
Example:
Someone posts: “This is what 4 years of training looks like” → You remix:
“5 years natural. Bad genetics. Still going.”
✅Understand + Fix Why Posts Don’t Perform
Goal: Never repeat the same mistake twice.
Daily Post Review Checklist:
Was the hook weak or unclear in the first 0.5s?
Did I lose attention in the first 3 seconds?
Was the caption missing or lazy?
Did I use a stale sound or off-brand tone?
Did I have no CTA or reason to engage?
Fix Plan:
Rework the hook as a scroll-stopper
Change audio to something more emotionally charged
Add “follow for part 2” or “save this” CTA
Repurpose the core message into a different format (e.g. talking instead of B-roll)
🧠 Summary: Daily Checklist
Task | Goal |
50-150 Outreach | Connect with others and gain loyal followers |
10–15 Ideas added to Vault | Never run out of content |
Recreate 1–2 Winning Structures | Speed up growth |
Audit Yesterday’s Post (Win or Fail) | Improve every time |
📍Section 9: Monetize the Brand
🎯 1. Offer Types: Low-Ticket vs High-Ticket vs Hybrid
Offer Type | Description | Who It's For | Example |
Low-Ticket | <$50 — impulse buy, info product, no call needed | Beginners, broad audience | PDF guide, mini course |
High-Ticket | $500–$5K+ — 1:1 coaching, mentorship, transformation | Warm leads, higher trust | DM-to-application coaching |
Hybrid | $50–$500 — scalable service, low-touch coaching, community | Mid-tier buyers, want depth | Group coaching, paid Discord |
✅ Your page likely leans toward High-Ticket + Hybrid (coaching + group systems).
💸 2. Pricing Structure + How to Pick Yours
Rule 1: Price based on result, not time or deliverables.
Rule 2: Start simple — raise later once proof and testimonials stack.
Example Framework:
Phase 1: $49 PDF or training vault
Phase 2: $399 4-week coaching offer
Phase 3: $2,000+ full transformation mentorship
✅ Don’t overthink it. The more clear and confident the outcome, the higher the price.
📣 3. CTA Structure: What to Link, Where to Place It, and Why
Your CTA ≠ “link in bio”
You need to give a reason.
Good CTA Examples:
“DM me 'COACH' for details — no pressure, just info.” (Story CTA)
“Want help building a physique that actually lasts? Link in bio.” (Reel CTA)
“Free guide in bio. Coaching opens next week.” (Value-first CTA)
Where to Place CTAs:
Placement | Purpose |
Bio | Permanent home for core offer |
Pinned Reel | Prime warm traffic + build authority |
Story | Casual, low-pressure engagement daily |
Carousel 3rd Slide | Mid-scroll re-engagement |
🔗 4. Link Tree vs. Single Link Pages
Option | Pros | Cons | Best Use |
Linktree | Easy, quick setup | Feels generic, lower conversions | Multiple links, freebie pages |
Single Link Page | Custom, branded, focused | Takes longer to build | One clear offer or funnel page |
✅ Best Practice:
Use a custom link page with:
1 big CTA at top (e.g. “Apply for Coaching”)
Optional: free guide or calendar link
Add social proof or testimonials if possible
